Acne management
Depending upon the site, severity, age and other associated metabolic or hormonal factors the treatment of acne and residual scars is done using medical and procedural interventions. Chemical peels, mnrf, micro needling, lasers, subcision, prp, etc are some of the modalities used in the treatment if acne and acne scars.

Chemical peels
Chemical peel technically called as chemexfoliation or dermapeeling uses a chemical solution to cause invisible/visible micro shedding of your skin. This reduces or improves acne scars , pigmentation,uneven skin tone and finelines. We customise the peel to individual skin type as per the concern and sensitivity of the skin. Different chemicals reach different depths of the skin. The new skin will have an overall improvement after a series of sessions.

Allergy testing /SPT
SPT or Skin prick test is the most useful single modality for demonstrating an IGE mediated allergic diseases in patients with chronic urticaria, Atopic eczema ,Asthma,Rhinoconjunctivitis, and suspected food allergies.
It is minimally invasive,inexpensive with immediate results
Many classes of allergens can be tested simultaneously in a short period of time. This is a simple test in which small amounts of a substance is pricked on the skin and results are read after 15-20 minutes. Specific immunotherapy is recommended in patients with significant inhaled allergies. Elimination diets are recommended in patients with significant food allergies
Pigmentation Management
Discolouration of skin can be due to various causes. After clinical evaluation, and, whenever indicated skin biopsy, applications and oral medications will be prescribed. Laser toning and peels, NCTF are procedures which can be considered for improving the overall skin tone and target deeper pigmentation.
Scar revision
Scars can be of various types. Large traumatic scars may need surgical scar revision while smaller ones maybe treated with lasers and prp Acne scars require a combination of approaches.
Hypertrophic scars and keloids can be improved with intralesional injections of steroids with or without other agents like 5FU.
Multiple sessions are needed to improve the scars and it is important to follow the post treatment precautions to ensure better results and fewer complications.
